Birnie has been involved in the housing industry in Alberta since 1968. He is a licensed Plumber and Gasfitter who specialized in residential new home construction for a number of years. Birnie then spent 31 years in the R.C.M.P. retiring in 2005 after serving and living in various communities in Alberta. He spent the last 14 years managing major national and international investigations.

Prior to and during his career with the R.C.M.P. Birnie designed and supervised the construction of a number of custom-built homes. Birnie owned and operated a home improvement and renovation business on a part time basis when employed with the R.C.M.P.

Birnie has been associated with Airdrie Modular Homes since our inception. Birnie brings to our customers his strong construction background and his extensive management experience.
